Two members of our consortium gave invited talks during the opening session of CLEO 2019. Project coordinator Helen Margolis from NPL spoke about ‘Optical clocks: from International timekeeping to gravity potential measurement’, immediately followed by Tanja Mehlstäubler from LUH on ‘Ultrastable optical atomic clocks for geodesy’. As part of these presentations, both Helen and Tanja spoke about work planned within the scope of the ROCIT project.
