The 83 IED General Meeting took place in Shanghai on 21-25 October. At the meeting, the IED/TC 113 (Nanotechnology for electrotechnical products and systems) Working Group 8 (graphene related materials) discussed several inputs that the GRACE consortium gave to the committee.

The GRACE partners have strongly contributed to the drafts of new IEC Technical Specifications, in close collaboration with the IEC/TC 113 experts.

In particular, the IEC Technical Specification on THz spectroscopy method “Nanomanufacturing – Key control Characteristics – PaIndir-Fullrt 6-10: Graphene film – Sheet resistance: Terahertz time-domain spectroscopy” is currently at the stage of Committee Draft (CD), very near to the publication of the final document.
