IUVSTA Workshop on 3D Chemical Imaging, Hotel Flamingo Resort, Pula, Sardinia

This workshop will engage leading scientists in the area of 3D chemical imaging in a lively scientific debate to address fundamentals and important challenges for 3D secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), FIB-SIMS and atom probe tomography.

This is a forum where experts share their views and engage in in-depth discussions to identify and solve current challenges and issues. Participation is limited to 50 delegates.

Science & Technology Day and 3D OrbiSIMS launch event

NPL’s NiCE-MSI is hosting a one-day science and technology meeting with talks by international leaders from industry, biomedical discovery, mass spectrometry imaging instrumentation and research. The event will include the official launch, by Sir Colin Dollery, of the 3D OrbiSIMS.

This free event includes:

  • A full programme of excellent invited speakers covering the state of the art in mass spectrometry imaging (SIMS, MALDI MS and ambient MS), as well as applications in life-sciences and advanced manufacturing
  • A vendor exhibition giving an excellent opportunity to find out about the latest technologies
  • Measurement advice from NiCE-MSI experts
  • A poster session
  • The opportunity to visit the NiCE-MSI labs and to see the 3D OrbiSIMS

3DMetChemIT 18 Month Consortium meeting NPL, Teddington, UK

Partners came together for a two-day meeting to prepare for the half way stage of the project. Progress was reviewed,  and next steps planned. The publishable summary will be updated soon to reflect results and impact to date.
